Matthew started his career working for brands like Harrods and Casio and spent time in Japan before joining the London College of Fashion to lead research, teaching and industry partnerships.

At Fashion Innovation Agency (FIA), Matthew has lead his team through partnerships with Nokia, creating the world’s first digital skirt, and with Disney, creating wearable tech.

In this interview we discuss everything from the future of retail and shopping experiences to how technology is enabling a more sustainable industry. Matthew shares his insights on how to cultivate true innovation and how fashion can look to other industries for collaboration.
