YOTA Programme

The Young Talents (YOTA) programme was a European Commission-funded initiative, which provided an opportunity for early-stage designers from abroad to receive crucial support from the Centre for Fashion Enterprise, enabling them to extend their networks in the UK, and benefit their businesses in their home countries.
Throughout 2015-16, the CFE hosted four young designers from across the Mediterranean, who each spent up to six months in London.
Israeli design duo Muslin Brothers, Turkish designer Bashaques’, and designers Maya Bash from Israel and Ece Gozen from Turkey, were those selected to take part in the YOTA Programme.
The young designers benefited from the CFE’s renowned designer business support programme, delivered by experts in business planning, sales, marketing (traditional and digital) and legal coaching. They also received studio space at the CFE’s East London incubator premises, as well as accommodation, and support with travel and living and material expenses.
