Story

Liam Hodges is a contemporary menswear designer who uses bold graphic print to communicate an expressive masculinity.

Liam studied fashion design at Westminster University and then went on to complete a Master’s degree at the Royal College of Art. He takes inspirational direction from a wide range of sources, drawn from his passion for “cultural overeating” and applies his own twist to the subject matter to fully explore its potential and make it his own. Liam uses strong graphic shapes, alongside contrasting colours and playful tailoring to create an effortlessly young look and a trademark signature style, with the often stark contrasts adding an almost dystopian quality to his work.

Liam’s trademark style is edgy, rebellious and raw. He designs for anyone who wants to push the boundaries, break the rules and do things their way. Liam launched his label during the Spring/ Summer 2014 season on the Fashion East platform and was an instant success, with the collection being snapped up by PRIMITIVE in London and Gr8 in Tokyo. The label is currently stocked across UK, Japan and the USA including MACHINE-A, VFILES, Dover Street Market London and Ginza, whilst also beIng featured in numerous publications including i-D, Dazed & Confused, Hunger and AnOther Man magazines.

Liam was part of the 2 year New Fashion Venture programme from October 2015.
