Story

London native Craig Green graduated from the Central Saint Martins MA in February 2012, receiving the L’Oreal Professionel Creative Award for his unique marriage of minimal garments, and dramatically sculptural body pieces. Prior to graduation, the commercial potential of Green’s aesthetic was noted by the likes of New Era, winning their XC Prize in 2010, held in celebration of the brands 90th anniversary, while the following year he designed an 8 style capsule collection of men’s shoes for Bally of Switzerland.

Green debuted his first own name collection for press and sales at the London Collections: Men Fashion East installation space for S/S 13. Green continues to collaborate with various brands and designers on both one off and commercialised projects. Recent highlights have included Adidas, customising shoes for David Beckham as part of their official London Olympics 2012 celebrations.

Re-iterating the impact of his work in just 3 short seasons, Greens Masters collection was nominated for the Design Museums ‘Designs of the Year 2013′, sharing the fashion category with the likes of Prada, Louis Vuitton and Comme Des Garcons. S /S 14 saw the launch of Greens first full range of own name shoes, produced in collaboration with Purified Footwear.

Craig Green graduated from our New Fashion Pioneer to New Fashion Venture programme and was based at our Mare Street studios.

“Being part of the CFE pioneer programme was a great experience. Without this knowledge and guidance, it would have been near impossible to develop my business in the way that it needed to. I am looking forward to working with CFE on the New Fashion Venture Programme and feel fortunate to have their expertise and support. It feels crucial for me to have such a great opportunity at this stage of my business, and I’m very thankful to the CFE.” Craig Green
