Story

London-based FYODOR GOLAN was founded in 2011 by Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman with their debut collection launching at Vauxhall Fashion Scout. The brand create advanced-contemporary designer-sportswear. In essence, the brand represents ‘Positive Intellectualism a movement of passionate self-expression, which comes across in vivid colours and use of tech fabrications merged with progressive sportswear aesthetics.’

The duo has since exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum as part of the Fashion in Motion series, joined the Swarovski Collective and collaborated with Microsoft to create an interactive skirt which reacted to the wearer’s movements and gave the illusion of fabric. The brand has had a number of high profile collaborations, including My Little Pony, Coca-Cola, MTV, Post-It, Sonic the Hedgehog, Chupa Chups and Powerpuff Girls.
