Story
Rachel Boston is a London born and based Jewellery designer and maker.
Rachel graduated in Jewellery Design from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design and continued to study at the Gemological Institute of America in New York where she received her diploma in Diamond Grading.
Her signature aesthetic of pure and strong forms looks to nature and the realms of magic and high fashion, to celebrate both the beautiful and the damned. From hinged diamond rings to white sapphire ear cuffs the collections are for the inspiring and the curious who like their luxury with understated edge.
The jewellery is created in her workshops in the creative hub of East London, and in the capital of stone cutting; Jaipur. Rachel maintains an emphasis on craftsmanship and artistry sourcing through only trusted local suppliers. Fusing modern and traditional making techniques, emphasis is on hand fabrication, which is integral to achieving products of both high quality and raw originality.
Since the brand’s launch, Rachel has been nominated for New Designer of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards, named by Elle and Harper’s Bazaar as a ‘designer you need to know’ and was selected in the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 Awards. Rachel was the youngest of seven designers chosen to take part in the unique exhibition ‘Made in London: Jewellery Now’ at the Museum of London which showcased the work of ‘the most talented jewellers working in London today’. Most recently Rachel has been selected to join ‘Rock Vault’; a jewellery initiative chosen by the British Fashion Council and Stephen Webster MBE to represent innovative fine jewellery talent.
Press coverage includes W, Vogue, Elle, i-D, Dazed and Confused, Sunday Times Style, The Independent, The FT How to Spend it and many others.
